FUNCTIONAL FRAGILITY REGISTER
Version 1.1

WHAT IS IN THIS FOLDER

  Functional-Fragility-Dashboard.html The tool.
seed-current.json A worked example to open.
Licence-and-scope.pdf Licence, and what this is and is not.
  Start-here.txt This file.

GETTING GOING, IN FOUR STEPS

  1. Save all of these somewhere local. Your Desktop or Documents folder is
fine. Not a network drive, and not a document preview window.

  2. Double-click Functional-Fragility-Dashboard.html. It opens in your
browser. Chrome or Edge are both fine.

  3. Rather than starting from a blank page, choose Snapshots, then
Open snapshot, and select seed-current.json. That loads a fictional
operations unit so you can see what a populated register looks like.

  4. When you want your own, choose Snapshots, then Clear all working data,
and start with your own people. Owners, key persons and backups are all
chosen from that list, so add people first.

There is a full guide inside the tool. Choose Guide in the top right.

WHERE YOUR DATA LIVES

In your browser, on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere. There is no
account, no server and no network call of any kind. Nobody, including the
author, can see what you enter.

That also means clearing your browser data will remove your working copy.
Export a snapshot at the end of each assessment and file it. That file is
  the record.

A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING

This is free, and it is unsupported. There is no helpdesk and no
obligation on anyone to answer questions about it.

It is an assessment aid. It is not regulatory advice, it is not a risk
framework, and it does not replace whatever your firm already uses.

It records personal data about named individuals if you enter it. You are
the controller of that data. It deliberately holds no ethnicity, religion,
sexual orientation, gender, age, disability or health information, and
provides no field for any of them.

Please read Licence-and-scope.pdf before using it in earnest.

WHO MADE IT

Designed and specified by Sophy Merrick, an individual rather than a
company. The code was written by Claude, an AI assistant made by Anthropic,
working to that specification. The design decisions, and the accountability
for what the tool does, are the author's.

If it was useful, or if you disagree with how it reads fragility, that is
worth more to hear than a download count.
